Sir,

I am directed to inform you that His Excellency the

Officer Administering the Government has under consideration

the question of suspending you from the exercise of your

office upon the following ground, namely, that on the 8th

November between the hours of 4.15 and 5 p.m. and on the 9th

November between the hours of noon and 3 p.m. you were, in

the offices of the Sanitary Department, in a condition incom-

patible with the proper discharge of your duties, such condi-

tion has due to indulgence in intoxicating liquor,

2. I am to call upon you to state in writing before the

22nd November any grounds upon which you may rely to exculpate

yourself.
